Technical Support Package
The Technical Support Package is uniquely designed for applicators and shipyards. It consists out of BERGSMACSI inspectors performing Quality Control inspections to ensure Quality Assurance for and on behalf of the applicator and/or shipyard.
Standard inspections are performed at the end of each preparation/application process. but might lead to costly rework and time loss, if the surface condition is not within manufacturers specification.
On the other hand, with the TSP, each preparation and application step will start from the beginning with careful reviewing and analyzing the end goal, including surface measurements, to ensure maximum efficiency and therefore minimizing cost and rework.
Existing condition inspections on latent defects, excessive bi-metallic corrosion, substrate imperfections, underlying issues e.t.c., prior to commencing of any preparation works will avoid Client discussions and project overrun time.

- Existing fairing/coating system latent defect inspection and documentation
- Existing damage documentation on glass, teak, stainless etc.
- Corrosion areas inspection and documentation
- Hardware coating condition and bi-metallic corrosion inspection
- QC check on incoming paint and non paint materials for the project
- QC inspections and documentation at the start, during and end of each preparation stage
- Final acceptance/delivery assessment, including accumulation of measurable data in acordance with the contract delivery protocol
- Elaboration and sign-off of a project re-delivery protocol
- Liaison between shipyard/applicator and Owner's representative
